The international conference started with welcoming speeches of the Deputy Governor of Izmir Governorship and the legal representative of the project. The Deputy Governor summarized the project and welcomed all participants. Secondly; Ambassador Naciye GÖKÇEN KAYA, Izmir Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs took part in the program and expressed her pleasure to participate in the event and the importance of the EU funding programs in terms of integration with the European Union. Government representatives, policymakers, media representatives, field specialists, home care sector providers, trainers, educators, job coaches, public servants, third sector workers, etc participated in the event. It was held toward the end of the project. This day aimed at raising awareness on issues studied within this project. Apart from local participants; all project partner representatives participated in the event both as speakers and participants. At the beginning of the program the expert of the Turkish National Agency and the project, Dr. Şule ÖZKAN KAŞKER, introduced the Erasmus+ Programme and Turkish National Agency. After that, the project coordinator presented the project. Project’s intellectual outputs were presented by the leader organisation of IOs in detail. A National Professional Officer from the World Health Organisation participated in the event and presented the topic ‘’Home Care Services From The Perspective of The World Health Organization’’. Employment Policies in The Sector of Home Care were presented by the expert from Job and Vocational Counselor, Izmir Provincial Labor and Employment Agency. At the end of the program, a practice session took place to show the participants how to use the project’s intellectual outputs and online platforms.
